Zero Tracking & Security Attributes: We do not use third-party advertising trackers or sell personal data. First-party cookies set by Ourl.in contain cryptographically randomized identifiers transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections. Ourl.in uses security attributes such as Secure, HttpOnly, and SameSite where appropriate based on the function and sensitivity of the cookie.

3. Chrome Extension Storage vs. Website Cookies
Our official Google Chrome Extension operates independently from website HTTP cookies and does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Instead, it utilizes Chrome's sandboxed client-side storage APIs strictly for essential functionality:
- Extension Session Storage (
chrome.storage.local): Saves your authentication session token (auth_token) stored in isolated Chrome extension storage so you can remain signed in between extension sessions. It also retains a random UUID client identifier (X-Device-Id) sent with API requests for installation identification, abuse prevention, and service security. Guest quota enforcement is based on the server-side IP controls described in our Terms of Use. - Local Activity Cache: Temporarily caches your recent shortened links locally on your device under "Today's Activity" (up to 150 records). This data remains strictly on your local machine and is automatically cleared when the extension next accesses its activity history on a new calendar day.
4. Third-Party Analytics & Advertising
We do not partner with third-party tracking companies, social network tracking pixels, or advertising data brokers. We do not track your browsing history across other websites.
5. Managing & Disabling Cookies
You can manage, restrict, or erase cookies at any time directly through your web browser's settings (Chrome > Settings > Privacy and security > Cookies). Please note that disabling strictly necessary session cookies will prevent login and dashboard functionality.
